The initial wood scales are selected from rare trees and roots for their very special intricate patterns and graining. Then the impregnation of monomers and acrylics are introduced to the wood under extreme pressure for both durability and enhancement. Once this is done, the scales are affected little by temperature, humidity, ultraviolet (UV) light, saltwater and most acids or solvents. The Double-Dyed™ scales are presentation grade and provides the most exclusive handle material you can find.
