Dimensions: 25 x 40 x 120mm approx. Imported from Croatia, some good red to purple speckles and interesting graining. These blocks will make excellent scales and carved handles.Although Plum is related to Cherry, it tends to be heavier and harder than Cherry, and much more scarce. Sizes are very limited, so Plum tends to be assigned primarily to smaller, knife making projects.

Block Dimensions: 25 x 40 x 125mmI have quite a few blocks of this fast growing Scots Pine, taken from the base of a large tree. When polished some delicate quilting occurs. The tree was taken down 3 years ago and was about 40 years old and I have carefully stored and planked the most interesting sections.
