Teak Burl: Tectona grandis:

To many, teak is the most common exotic wood they interact with, it’s even, oily texture and extreme water resistance makes it an excellent choice for high wear or wet areas, but its relatively understated appearance keeps it out of decorative uses. That’s not the case for these Teak burls, they show incredibly interesting colour, and grain folds within the complex layer figure of these blocks. The wood is dense, completely water proof and polishes to a gleaming shine with only a buffing.

An excellent choice for kitchen and camp knives alike, teak burl is a real treat to use, and the strong teak odour persists for years.
