Spalted Beech Logs
Price range: £10.00 through £15.00
Spalted beech wood blocks are an excellent choice for knife making and small wood projects. Spalting is a natural process that occurs when fungi begin to break down the wood fibres, creating unique patterns and colours that are highly prised by woodworkers.
Description
I had two nice logs that I cut up the other day.
They are reasonably dry but need cutting down to a more manageable size for stabilising. As soon as they are dry enough (2%) moisture then I will stabilise a batch myself.
The medium section should yield 6 blocks of 150 x 25 x 40mm
The larger section should yield 12 blocks of 150 x 25 x 40mm
