Leadwood Long Grain

Description

Dimensions: 25 x 40 x 125mm

Latin name: Combretum imberbe

This timber is the hardest wood we have come across, so hard that Africans made blades for their hoes before metal became available.
Great for scales or a carved handle, polishes up really well.
