A neat tool with a hardwood turned handle for taking the edges of sheaths down to give a nice clean join.
This traditional wooden handled paring or skiving tool can gouge, skive, pair edges and be used to make channels in leather. Useful if you wish to create a fold or crease in thicker leather, or when you want to butt join two pieces.It can also be worked in a circle to create a countersink.This Skiver can be used both left and right handed, and can be stropped to keep the blade sharp.The width of the blade is 6mm (1/4").
