Sentinel Fultang 97: English Handmade Knives Exclusive Design
Definition of Sentinel; A watcher whose job is to stand guard and raise the alarm.
Length: 97mm.
Overall length: 215mm.
Blade Thickness: 4.5mm
Blade Material: Damascus Firesnake Pattern. 1084 and 15n20 in simple double high carbon nickel steel having a hardness of 58-60 after tempering.
Layers: 264
Grind: Scandi with a secondary bevel (Nice and sharp).
Handle: Grass Bolster with Imitation Oyster Scales
Fixings: Corby Nickel Silver fixing pins. Especially time consuming to make. Hence high price. Polished up with a fine buffing compound and finished with Carnauba wax.
Sheath: Handmade using 3mm veg tanned leather, wet moulded to fit, dyed black, with two position belt loop and Brass Fittings.
Finish: Aussie Wax for protection against the elements, buffed to a satin finish

Built for real field use and made to be collected. The Scandi grind gives excellent woodwork and game prep control, while the 264 layer Damascus provides toughness and a unique Firesnake pattern on every blade.
