Bethersden Mk3

Style and usage: Hunting, general bushcraft work and collecting

Blade: MCI Damascus Medium Stick Tang Nordic 115 Carbon Steel, Scandi Grind with secondary bevel. HRC 59-60 with 172 layers of metal.

Handle: 9.5mm Brass Radius Bolster and Fingerguard, Thya Burl, 5mm Red Vulcanised Fibre Spacer, Olive Wood and Mosaic Lanyard Tube LMT-A8
A substantial bolster made from Brass, all of the components have been bonded onto the blade with slow setting Epoxy Resin, then sculpted by hand and sanded in several stages. It has been treated with CCL knife handle polish and Carnauba wax then buffed to achieve a high shine. Can be polished up using a good quality polish, or Renaissance Micro-crystalline Wax Polish.

Sheath: Hand sewn Western Style
3mm veg tanned leather, wet moulded to fit knife, dyed black to compliment the knife handle with a double belt loop and retaining strap. It has been then treated with Aussie Wax providing suppleness and waterproofing. Polish with leather polish, do not use shoe polish, this will come off on your clothes.
