Each blade has been especially forged for English Handmade Knives with a special slot that has been cut into each blade to take our bolster LOM – Finger Guard,  but it as been modified by us to fit each blade precisely and each one has been press fitted

It needs to be removed to polish up the Brass or Nickel Silver that buts-up to the blade, before fitting your scales.

The design of the basic blade goes back to North America, The Choctaw tribe, the design has essentially not changed apart from our recent modifications.
